No. 1 clove quality of agricultural eastern Indonesia with the content of the oil content of 1.1% - 1.4% . Clove (Syzygium aromaticum, syn. Eugenia aromaticum), in English called cloves, are the aromatic dried flower stalks of Myrtaceae family tree. Cloves are native to Indonesia, is widely used as a spice in cooking spicy in European countries, and as the main ingredient of typical Indonesian clove cigarettes. Cloves are grown mainly in Indonesia (Banda Islands) and Madagascar; but it is also cultivated in Zanzibar, India, and Sri Lanka .
This plant is the identity of the flora of North Maluku province  . 

Cloves can be used as a condiment, both in intact form or as a powder . This spice is used in Europe and Asia. Especially in Indonesia, clove cigarettes are used as ingredients. Cloves are also used as incense in the People's Republic of China and Japan. Clove oil is used in aromatherapy and also to treat toothache. The leaves are finely ground dried cloves can be used as a vegetable and effective pesticide to control Fusarium stem rot disease by providing 50-100 grams of dried clove leaf per plant .
