Eugenia aromaticum), in English called cloves, are the aromatic dried flower stalks of Myrtaceae family tree. Cloves are native to Indonesia, is widely used as a spice in cooking spicy in European countries, and as the main ingredient of typical Indonesian clove cigarettes. Cloves are grown mainly in Indonesia (Banda Islands) and Madagascar; but it is also cultivated in Zanzibar, India, and Sri Lanka .
This plant is the identity of the flora of North Maluku province .
